My story
I know this situation. I lived it from the inside.
My name is Khadija AitLassri, founder of NEXTIWEB.
My career started in IT — network administration, then web development. But early on, I wanted something beyond employment. In 2015, I became an entrepreneur. I built my own business, managed teams, negotiated contracts, delivered complex projects under pressure. I learned the hard way what it means to depend on your results to make a living.
Then COVID hit. In 2023, I sold my franchise and had to rebuild everything from scratch.
I went back to my roots in IT — and did what many do : I built my own website. Technically solid. Well structured. Clean code. And I waited for visitors.
Zero traffic. Zero inquiries. The site existed — but it was invisible.
That's when I understood that mastering code isn't enough. I decided to find the real answers : I studied e-commerce, online buyer behaviour, SEO, and the impact of artificial intelligence on how people search for and choose their service providers.
